Jello - healthy, homemade with fruit

Ingredients

  • 2 cups juice Tart cherry juice is my favorite.
  • 2 tbsp gelatin
  • 1 cup fruit frozen or fresh; I used frozen cherries, strawberries (chopped), raspberries and blueberries

Instructions

  • Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup of the juice and let it rest.
  • Warm up the remaining 1 cup of the juice in a pan.
  • In the meantime divide the fruit in small containers.
  • Pour the hot juice into the gelatin mixture and stir until well incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture into the small containers to cover the fruit.
  • Refrigerate until the mixture gels, about 2 hours.
  • Store in a fridge.

Notes

Any juice can be used; organic and not loaded with sugar preferred ! Also choose juice based on what color and flavor jello you would like.
I like tart cherry juice the most because of it's health benefits.
Kiwi and pineaple won't work in the jello. They will not let the mixture to gel.
